Year 5 | Year 6 | Year 7 | Year 8 | Ski trip We offer the opportunity for children to take part in a number of school trips during their time at Lindisfarne Middle School. Year 5 Residential Trip Last year Year 5 went on a residential trip to York. This trip ties in to their humanities and they took part in a number of activities including a visit to the Railway museum as well as a Second World War camp. They also walked the city walls and found out about the spooky history of York. This year the Year 5 trip is to Edinburgh and we look forward to hearing all about what they get up to!
Year 6 Residential Trip Year 6 go on a residential trip to Shropshire. The week is a lot of fun after the hard work leading up to SATs week in May. The children fit in a lot of activities during the five days away including a visit to: a football stadium, Alton Towers theme park, the Sea Life Centre, Chester zoo and Cadbury's World.
Year 7 Residential Trip Year 7 go to the Lake District for their residential visit. They camp in the great outdoors and take part in a lot of healthy activities such as raft building, team problem solving and going through assault courses.
Year 8 Residential Trip Year 8 visit France for their residential visit. During this trip they get the chance to practice their fantastic language skills in local towns and markets in Normandy. They visit Paris and take in the famous sights as well as seeing other must-see attractions in Northern France such as the Bayeaux Tapestry and Mont St Michel. Key Stage 3 Ski Trip Children in Key Stage 3 (Years 7 and 8) get the additional chance of going on a ski trip to France. They have a fabulous time learning to ski or snowboard, sampling the Alpine lifestyle and enhancing their French language skills. |
